Chant Action Day & Rally

CHANT is holding a Community Hospitals Action Day and Rally on 21st March 2007, to take place in Old Palace Yard, Houses of Parliament between 1pm & 2pm. Protesters are invited to gather from 12pm. Afterwards we will march to Downing Street to present a petition to Number 10, then there will be the opportunity for protesters to lobby their MPs."

16 January - Community Hospitals Under Threat Workshop
CHA and CHANT are combining to run a workshop for those who are concerned about the future of their community hospital services. The workshop is aimed at community action groups and all other individuals and agencies who have a stake in the service.

A number of downloads of useful documents and briefing papers from the workshop are now available in our downloads section!

15 February-Public Meeting re Closure of Westbury Hospital. 7:30pm at Matravers School, Westbury Wiltshire. 
>West Wiltshire PCT still plan to close Westbury Hospital despite the White Paper. Closure will affect all of West Wiltshire as the PCT plan to close all our Community Hospitals which will mean that YOU will have to care for your family if they need a Community hospital bed.
